About the Program

The Joint Engineering Program, offered in partnership from the University of Missouri-St. Louis and Washington University in St. Louis, is an affordable and convenient engineering education option designed for busy students in the region. The program offers full- and part-time students an opportunity to earn a bachelor of science degree in civil, electrical or mechanical Engineering. You’ll complete two years of study on the UMSL campus, taking mathematics, science and general education courses, before transitioning to the WashU campus to complete the upper-level engineering courses. Students pay UMSL tuition while having access to WashU’s cutting-edge resources and facilities.

All three engineering programs are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET.
